I believe that while recycling is great, reusing and refilling is even better! 

 

Recycling begins at the end of a product's life cycle when it is thrown away. However, refilling closes the loop - ie it contributes to a circular economy and enables us to do our part to avoid plastic waste.

To become more sustainable I set up ABC’s VEGAN REFILL BAR in my boutique salon.

 

SUSTAINABILITY

The purpose of the refill bar is to encourage reduction, reuse, recycling and mindful consumption.

In addition, the approach of more sustainable hair care should be promoted.

 

BRING YOUR BOTTLE BACK

You bring your cleanser or conditioner refill bottle back to the salon and it's refilled with your favourite product - easy!

 

The special refill bottles are made from 90% recycled plastic (PCR), which is plastic that already exists and is recycled. Each 250ml refill bottle can be reused at least five times, saving 83% plastic*. (My experience is that they last far longer then 5x refill.)

The bottles are covered with Forest Film labels (the first wood-based label material on the market, ISCC**-certified), which contain all the information you need.
